The Health and Elderly Administration is one of the largest administrations in Borås City.
We are now looking for someone to serve as a temporary administrative coordinator in the administration's health and medical care organization!
The health and medical care operations consist of approximately 300 nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, pharmacists, nursing assistants, and rehabilitation assistants distributed across ten health and medical care teams. The management function consists of a operations manager and eleven unit managers, one of whom works as managerial support with development assignments. You will be part of a working group with five experienced administrative coordinators. Together, we develop the municipal health and medical care to provide our patients with the best possible care, now and in the future!
Our offices are located at Ramnåsgatan 1, near the Central Station and Travel Center, with the beautiful Ramna Park around the corner.
Administrative CoordinatorJob DutiesIn your role, you will serve as a broad administrative support to the managers of the operations. All coordinators essentially have the same assignment, and we collaborate on many common issues. In addition, we also have our own specific areas of responsibility.
You will plan and organize the workflow in consultation with the managers. Examples of job duties include being responsible for personnel administration during new hires and coordinating, preparing, and managing practical tasks related to meetings and training. Other examples of job duties include scheduling and inventorying and ordering equipment and materials.
You will have ongoing contact with internal and external parties. You are also a good ambassador for the operations and continuously contribute to the development and improvement of our administrative methods and routines.

QualificationsWe are looking for someone with relevant university education or a KY education (at least 1 year) with a focus on administration, or several years of documented professional experience in administration/coordinating, preferably within the health and care sector.
To succeed in this position, you need to have good IT and system skills. Experience with Heroma, Tes, Viva, TimeCare pool, and Agresso is an advantage, as well as experience in the health and medical care field.
You are service-oriented and flexible, and you enjoy having many tasks going on simultaneously while managing multiple contact points. Good collaboration skills, an open and positive attitude, and wholehearted commitment are also seen as necessary for the position.
It is important that you are structured and self-driven, and that you have a very good ability to plan and prioritize, and can re-prioritize when conditions change at short notice. This is particularly important as the role is independent and the workload and pace can be very high at times. You need to have the capacity to work quickly and handle multiple tasks simultaneously without affecting quality.
A driver's license is required.
